Great recognition

Board member Jennifer van der Leegte of VDL Groep has received the Dutch Innovation Prize 2019 in Scheveningen. “This is a great recognition for our nearly 17.000 employees who work hard every day at our 104 companies at home and abroad to make our world smarter, faster, better and greener. Our activities are of course very broad and diverse.

For example, we are researching the smallest part on Earth, parts for the particle accelerator from CERN in Switzerland, and researching the largest part on Earth: the support structures for the mirrors of the largest telescope in the world being built in Chile, and everything in between.

Don't forget that we are the European frontrunner in the electrification of heavier transport, buses, trucks and automated guided vehicles. With our electric vehicles, we contribute to a cleaner and quieter environment. ”
