Flyadeal will deploy a full Airbus A320 fleet in the future. The airline had previously announced that it was considering canceling a Boeing order. The Saudi Arabian budget airline Flyadeal has decided not to purchase fifty Boeing 737 Max aircraft.

Flyadeal is the first airline to officially cancel an order for this aircraft. The 737 Max is obliged to be grounded after two accidents with the plane. The Saudi company switches to Airbus and buys fifty A320neo aircraft. This means that the entire fleet of the company will soon consist of Airbus aircraft.

"We understand that Flyadeal will not honor its commitment to purchase the 737 Max at this time given the requirements of its schedules," Boeing wrote in an email to Bloomberg on Sunday. "We wish the Flyadeal team all the best and we hope to be able to support their operational fleet again in the future."

The Saudi airline's decision is a commercial setback for Boeing. The aircraft manufacturer is under great pressure to prove that the aircraft is completely safe again after an adjustment of the software. The device has been on the ground since March this year.
