For the Yandex taxi drivers, the merger with Uber is no progress. They complain bitterly that working conditions are now much worse, compensation schemes for canceled journeys have been abolished and the payments per assignment are considerably less than with Uber.

It is now quite common among drivers to ask the customer to cancel the order as soon as they have taken their seat in the car. In this way, the driver does not have to pay a commission and the consumer pays slightly less.
