Employers help the Netherlands in achieving the goals in the Climate Agreement. Making road kilometers sustainable and the way in which employees travel has major social impact and all kinds of benefits for employers.

The Netherlands is working hard to make work-related road kilometers more sustainable. Employers make a big difference in this. They push the CO with great initiatives in the field of mobility₂ emissions in the Netherlands together with their employees. 

We are also working on regulations which ensures that all employers with more than 100 employees will work towards a common goal from 2022: to reduce the total CO₂ emissions of the Netherlands.

In addition, dozens of employers have united under the heading of the Travel Travel coalition. They have set themselves a target, namely: by 2030 their CO₂ emissions must be reduced by no less than 50% compared to 2016. They do this by talking to employees, taking reduction measures and monitoring progress. A total of 300.000 employees are now represented among the employers in the Anders Reizen coalition.
