The 98th edition of the Brussels Motor Show will take place from 10 to 19 January in the Palaces of Brussels Expo. Although cars and motorized two-wheelers are again at the top of the poster, soft and shared mobility solutions are not left behind: they are now even given a preferred position so that they will be at the center of the most visited event in Belgium.

The 98th edition of the Brussels Motor Show dedicates more than 95.000 square meters to cars, motorized two-wheelers and soft and shared mobility and is therefore very complete. All traditional car manufacturers have answered the call of the organizers, as have almost all brands of motorized two-wheelers. Better yet, we even welcome some new players to the market, who are taking part in the Brussels Motor Show for the first time. This proves that the Belgian event still manages to seduce the main protagonists of mobility.

"We are very proud that we have once again succeeded in putting together a very complete poster," says a satisfied Pierre Lalmand, Salon Director at FEBIAC, the Belgian and Luxembourg Automobile and Two-wheeler Federation.

Seven Palaces are occupied by car manufacturers: six of them are dedicated to the general salon (Palaces 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 10), while Palace 1 is traditionally reserved for the Dream Cars exhibition. The motorized two-wheelers exhibitors once again have Palaces 8 and 9, while the exhibitors of #WeAreMobility were also given a central place in the salon: they were assigned the Patio between Palaces 5, 8 and 9, where they were assigned throughout duration of the salon will highlight various soft and shared mobility solutions.

“Over the years, the Brussels Motor Show continues to gain in importance among our exhibitors, to the extent that we can offer our visitors a comprehensive list of world premieres, European premieres and national premieres, which are without doubt among the most alluring in recent years . ”

“After they were allowed to take over Palace 10 at two editions for a limited period of four days, we wanted to give the exhibitors of #WeAreMobility greater visibility,” explains Pierre Lalmand. “That is why they were given a central place at the Brussels Motor Show and will be present throughout the salon. The mobility landscape is currently undergoing an unprecedented revolution. Never before has the range of engine versions been so varied and at the same time there has been such a wide range of applications and systems to promote urban mobility. This is also reflected in the full name of our event: Brussels Motor Show: Auto, Moto, Mobility. So that extra word on our poster is no coincidence: we want to offer our visitors a complete overview of the mobility solutions. ”

The lovers of luxury cars and exotic cars will not be left out in the cold either. The Dream Cars exhibition has now become an indispensable addition to the salon and is once again central to the Brussels Motor Show. The forty podium places in Hall 1 will receive a spring-fresh touch for the occasion. The most prestigious car manufacturers reveal their latest creations side by side with some passionate craftsmen.

“We are delighted to also count a Belgian professional among the Dream Cars exhibitors,” emphasizes Pierre Lalmand. “The general public can get to know the beautiful Krugger FD, a 100% Belgian car, designed and built from head to toe by a single man: Fred Krugger, who has his workshop in the province of Liège. A unique car in more ways than one, which he likes to present to the public and which we are sure will attract a lot of attention. ”

The 98th Brussels Motor Show is open to the general public from 10 to 19 January 2020, between 10.30:19.00 am and 22:10 pm. There are also three late-night openings until 13 pm on Friday 17, Monday 15 and Friday 14 January. The price of an entrance ticket remains unchanged (15 euros). For every visit on Tuesday 16, Wednesday 30 and Thursday 5 January, a discount of XNUMX percent (XNUMX euros) is given (Midweek ticket, to be ordered via the online platform).

To promote soft mobility, the Brussels Motor Show wants to emphasize the extra-affordable B-Excursion ticket (50 percent discount on the costs of public transport and 25 percent discount on admission to the Brussels Motor Show) to come to the salon. Visitors who take their car to the Brussels Motor Show from this year, they can leave this on the completely renovated Parking C with a guaranteed capacity of 10.000 places.
