A great reassurance for the children of the Brabant municipality of Steenbergen. The student transport in the municipality will be completely taken over from March 2 REVO taxi from Bergen op Zoom. Not an unknown carrier for the municipality because REVO taxi previously provided part of the transport together with the now bankrupt TCR from Middelburg.

Reportedly, the drivers who worked at TCR will be employed by the company from Bergen op Zoom. They keep their own route so that the children who use the student transport keep their own trusted driver and their travel companions remain the same.

In Steenbergen, student transport was previously assigned to DVG. DVG opted for a split between the two franchisees Taxicentrale Renesse and REVO Taxi. It concerned an assignment with a maximum term of eight years, which is now fully owned by the company of owner David Verbaarendse.

REVO Taxi has existed for over 70 years and is located in Bergen op Zoom. Originating as a small family business, it has grown under the third generation into a professional medium / large taxi company with extensive experience in various forms of passenger transport.

The company is also in possession of the TX-Keur brand and the drivers therefore meet all the requirements set therein. They also want corporate social responsibility. For example, they consciously employ a number of employees who fall under the SROI.
