London taxi driver Spencer Kurash has died after possibly contracting the corona virus in his taxi. According to the report, the British taxi driver's family says he died of the corona virus from receiving cash at checkout. 56-year-old Spencer continued to work as a taxi driver across London, even as the COVID-19 pandemic spread, the report said. Mirror.

On March 18, he began to develop symptoms associated with the virus during one of his shifts. His health continued to deteriorate, and he passed away last Wednesday at his home in East London, the report said. Paramedics tried to save him, but to no avail.

Spencer was a taxi driver and holder of a Tottenham Spurs subscription for over 22 years, a football club in the Tottenham district. His 19-year-old wife, Esther, tried to resuscitate unsuccessfully and called 999. Paramedics worked on Spencer for an hour but were unable to save him.

The dreadful news hit many London taxi drivers who are still working. Public opinion thinks it is time for the government and unions to intervene and taxi drivers to stop working for their own safety and that of the public using a taxi.

According to the latest figures from John Hopkins University, the United Kingdom has reported at least 1.000 deaths and the virus has spread to more than 17.000 people across the country.
