Now that our country is dealing with the coronavirus, the process of NS Travel Assistance has been partially adapted. Passengers can still request NS Travel Assistance for the journey, but physical contact between the assistant and the traveler or his aid is avoided. This measure applies to all stations where NS Travel Assistance is provided.

Passengers with a motor disability, using an aid provided by the assistance provider, such as being used from the meeting point to the departing train, during the transfer or after arriving to the exit. When getting in / out, the assistance provider prepares the travel assistance device (bridge or board). The assistant does not touch the traveler or the aid

Visually impaired passengers are only guided by the assistance provider by means of verbal instructions, from the meeting point to the departing train or on arrival to the exit.

Travelers with other disabilities will be guided by the assistance provider as usual from the meeting point to the departing train, during the transfer or after arrival to the exit. In doing so, the assistance provider does not touch the traveler.

NS asks travelers who want to use a travel assistant to provide someone who can accompany the traveler as long as these measures are in force. If this is not possible, NS urgently asks to refrain from traveling with NS Travel Assistance.
