Seated transport may be necessary for people infected with the new corona virus. For example, because they have to go to hospital for treatment with chemotherapy or dialysis. The rules apply to journeys with a passenger who has been diagnosed with the new corona virus. It is highly preferred to use a larger vehicle or van. Then the distance between passenger and driver can be at least 1,5 meters.

The passenger must wear a mouth and nose mask during the seated transport. If the passenger wears a nose mask, the driver is not required to wear a nose mask. In addition, the driver and passenger must disinfect their hands well. The practitioner decides whether persons with these complaints may be transported or whether a test for COVID-19 is required first. The person who normally drives the vehicle can now do the same. The driver must be healthy himself. The driver must not have any conditions which make him a bigger one risk is running to get seriously ill from the coronavirus.
