An ANWB survey of 2100 people shows that more than a third expect to travel more often with their own means of transport, even after the corona crisis. They find it too busy on public transport. Batteries and motor are cleverly concealed in the frame and the display is only visible to the cyclist.

Of course you want to get on the road with your new e-bike as soon as possible. However, it is wise to charge the battery for a long time before using the bicycle for the first time. Of course it depends on your battery how long it takes before the battery is fully charged. This usually varies between three and ten hours. Fully charging a new battery before draining it ensures that the current flows properly through all cells of the battery. As a result, he immediately makes a good start.

Please note that when purchasing the bicycle, you take into account the purchase of a good one bicycle insurance for theft and damage. With the e-bike, the damage caused by a simple falling over of your bike can easily amount to a few hundred euros. Replacing a display is expensive. Many models are equipped with a module with GPS protection. With this you can find out where your bicycle is in the event of theft.

Anyway, the electric bicycle or e-bike can no longer be ignored from the street scene. You see them in all shapes, colors and sizes.
