In the past week, transport in Rotterdam and the surrounding area for daily spending has started again. Visits and taxi transport were expanded in phases and all RIVM protocols within the transport sector were introduced to clients. The restart relieves informal caregivers and visitors can enjoy the social contacts.

When you talk about care, welfare and social services in the Rijnmond Region, you immediately come to the Humanitas Foundation. Board chairman Gijsbert van Herk and Arno van Haasterecht, director of Rotterdam Trevvel are glad that daytime activities have started again. In addition, Arno van Haasterecht was a driver for the Humanitas Foundation on Thursday 18 June. Together with Gijsbert van Herk and Mr. Tetteroo, he expertly drove to the Humanitas location Gerard Goosen in Ommoord.

happy day

Because of this memorable fact, the transport company distributed cakes to the locations of the daytime activities. A nice gesture that was greatly appreciated by the care organizations and their customers. Then it was Trevvel's turn to receive a real Rotterdam Dudok apple pie. Van Herk offered on behalf of the Humanitas Foundation Trevvel a cake under the motto: "Thanks for the cake, but you deserve one too!"

The Humanitas Foundation is active in Rotterdam, Spijkenisse and Capelle aan den IJssel in the field of care with and without accommodation, household support, home care, mental health care, medical and paramedical services (also in the district), welfare and social assistance and service. Humanitas distinguishes itself from other healthcare providers and welfare institutions by its approach, its approach to clients, the working methods of its staff and the layout of its buildings.
