The Greek government website states that tourists will be welcome everywhere in Greece again from July 1. Previously only flights were possible to Thessaloniki and Athens. From July XNUMX we can again go to Kos, Crete, Samos or one of the other beautiful islands of Greece. However, the Greek government will carry out a diagnostic screening, a so-called PLF (Passenger Locator Form). If you do not do this, you will be sent home immediately. All travelers are required to complete and bring a Passenger Locator Form 48 hours before departure to Greece.

After completing this form you will receive a confirmation email with more information. You can also bring the completed form digitally on your mobile. You can find the form on the website of the Greek government. They ask for detailed information about your departure point, flight numbers, the duration of previous stays in other countries and the address in Greece. Once you have arrived In Greece by plane, for example, you have to go to the place where the screening staff are located. Here you need to scan the unique QR code (which each passenger has been given) that is on your form or phone.

The special screening staff will lead the passengers, depending on their QR code, to the screening area or to the baggage collection area or to the passport control. Passengers are screened by a professional health team. After completion, the passengers are guided to the exit. Passengers are obliged to isolate themselves at their stated holiday address until the screening results are known. All passengers must keep a distance of one and a half meters and must wear a mask. Today, the travel advice for Greece is still on the Orange code on the website Wereldwereldreed.nl of Foreign Affairs, only travel to Greece if necessary.
