Now that many countries in Europe are easing the corona policy after many weeks of strict measures, we are seeing the corona virus reloading in several countries. In Italy, the number of corona infections has almost doubled in recent days. The Italian government is concerned. It is striking that half of the increase in the number of corona infections is caused by foreigners living in Italy returning from their stay in their home country. In Mondragone, 700 people from various apartment blocks were quarantined again at the end of June after corona infections were identified among Bulgarian migrant workers.

Various presidents from different parts of Italy therefore want action to be taken. They have asked the Minister of Health whether, for example, more tests can be carried out on persons outside the Schengen area and whether the government can oblige 'suspects' to have themselves tested for corona. There are currently about fifty small fires in Italy in terms of corona, these fires are often no more than a handful of people, but this can quickly spread to a bigger problem.
