As of today, Ahold Delhaize subsidiary bol.com is also active in Brussels and Wallonia. For French-speaking Belgians, a range of millions of articles, from diapers to games and household products, is now easily available via the app. Bol.com works together with local entrepreneurs and has already managed to attract thousands of Belgian entrepreneurs such as Ecover and Guylian.

French-language app

Director of the Margaret Versteden platform: 'We have been working hard for years on strengthening our service and our range in Flanders. Now we want to take the step to no longer just serve Flanders, but almost all of Belgium. We fully opt for an app as a medium because research shows that more and more people make their purchases via mobile. With our network of more than 30.000 partners from Flanders and the Netherlands, we now hope to expand to Brussels and Wallonia. With our expertise, we are an attractive showcase for retailers who acquire customers throughout Belgium and the Netherlands via bol.com. '

Looking for local partners

Just like in Flanders and the Netherlands, bol.com also hopes to work with a large number of local partners in French-speaking Belgium. Bol.com is also working on collection points in French-speaking Belgium, the packages not only at home, but also, for example, in 300 Delhaize supermarkets, 58 of which are in French-speaking Belgium.
