CEO Frank Janssen of Keolis Nederland transport company announced on Thursday that he will step down. On October 15, Frank Janssen, CEO Keolis Nederland, announced that he would step down from his position on November 15. This decision was taken in consultation with the shareholder and follows a time when Keolis can once again focus positively on the future.

Keolis is allowed to operate the contract with electric buses in Gelderland and Overijssel for two years and is fully engaged in the implementation thereof. Internally, compliance is being improved and all public transport companies and governments are working together to absorb the enormous effects of COVID on public transport and to create a perspective for healthy business operations.

“In the recent times that are now behind us, I have also had to deal with private circumstances that affect me deeply. Now that Keolis can focus on the future again, it is a good time for me to say goodbye and invest in myself. I look back with great pleasure on the past eighteen months in which I got to know Keolis as a great public transport company with committed and fun people who put their heart and soul into it ”, says Janssen.

Marc Renouprez, regional director of Keolis Benelux, takes over the tasks and responsibilities temporarily until suitable succession is found and thanked Frank for his efforts. In recent months, he has guided Keolis through a challenging period in a professional manner, working constructively with the Keolis Group. Renouprez wishes him all the best for the future. In addition, the Keolis Group remains confident in the future of this company and also offers the support it needs.
