Everyone has to deal with the corona measures that have recently been tightened by the cabinet. Eindhoven Airport has also further tightened measures against the spread of corona. The wearing of a face mask is also mandatory for all passengers and employees in the General Aviation terminal (private and business flying). The obligation applies to everyone from the age of 13. In addition, they have tightened the measure in the catering industry in the terminal for the security check, by making this take-away, there are no more seats. McDonald's will also be take away; the Drive Thru remains open. National guidelines are also followed for retail at the airport.

 

The reason for this is the recently announced corona measures by the national government that have been tightened. The stricter measures at the airport have been added to the existing measures, such as keeping a distance of 1,5 meters, hygiene measures, carrying a completed health declaration with you and the extra communication about this to travelers. Eindhoven Airport communicates the corona measures that apply at the airport in various ways. 

Research, which was carried out in September on behalf of the airport among 332 travelers, shows that 84 percent of them rate the corona measures of Eindhoven Airport as good to excellent. Eindhoven Airport made the wearing of a face mask in the terminal mandatory for all passengers (from 15 years old) and airport personnel on 13 June. In addition, access to the airport terminal was limited to passengers and staff only.
