Electric driving is the future and contributes to cleaner air and less noise pollution in the cities. To get closer to the goal of emission-free mobility, Allego, Deventer Energie Coöperatie and Pure Energie joined forces this summer to install 38 charging points in the municipality of Deventer that are supplied with locally generated green electricity. You can see where these charging stations are located on the map on the website.

"As a local cooperative, we are happy to contribute to clean driving on electricity from our own Deventer wind farm," says Guido Bakema of the Deventer Energie Coöperatie.

The charging stations take the electricity from Windpark Kloosterlanden in Deventer. The wind farm is a collaboration between Pure energy and the Deventer Energie Coöperatie. The 2 local wind turbines generate around 8,4 million kilowatt hours of green electricity annually, which is enough for 3400 households. The 38 charging stations have an estimated annual consumption of 383.700 kWh, which saves almost 250 tons of CO2. A Tesla model 3 needs approximately 70 kWh for a full battery; with this you can charge 5.482 Teslas.

“We are extremely proud of the partnership with Allego. For us it is a great step to show what you can achieve with green energy. Sustainable living, working and also sustainable driving. '' Said Joost Posthuma, Head of Business at Pure Energie.

Harold Langenberg, Managing Director Benelux for Allego states: “Allego supplies green steam at all our charging points in our network. As a CPO (Charge Point Operator) or charging station operator, we are particularly proud of this. The combination of electric driving with green energy is the way today to reduce the environmental impact of road transport in the greatest possible way. We are happy to continue to work for that future together with our partners. ''
