Since the corona crisis, more and more airlines have applied a flexible rebooking scheme for tickets. Since the end of August, all fares of airlines Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines and Eurowings can be rebooked for free as often as you want. Originally, this fare offer was valid for (re) bookings of tickets until the end of the year.

The offering to customers is now expanding: all airfares can now be rebooked for free as often as necessary for tickets until February 28, 2021 if the rebooking also takes place before that date. You can then change your booking of your tickets free of charge. In these uncertain corona times, this is no superfluous luxury. Travel advice still often changes due to the consequences of the corona pandemic.

The airlines of the Lufthansa Group had already given their customers a free rebooking of tickets in the spring. The elimination of rebooking charges applies worldwide to all new bookings in all fares for short, medium and long haul routes.

The airlines in the Lufthansa Group thus offer even more flexibility to their customers. However, the customer may incur additional costs if, for example, when changing the tickets to a different date or to a different travel destination, the original booking class is no longer available. Any price difference of the tickets must then be paid extra. This reports Lufthansa on their website.
