Due to weather forecasts, the KNMI has issued code red for Sunday. The Municipality of Rotterdam has therefore decided to stop target group transport on Sunday 7 February. Trevvel Together does not run on Sunday. Customers who had already booked a ride have already been called. Next Monday they will again transport primary school pupils and some of the secondary school pupils. Even then, there is a good chance that many delays will occur. The extreme weather conditions this weekend can cause many delays in student transport this Monday.

Trevvel also knows shortly in advance what the weather conditions will be, but in any case tries to keep travelers informed of the delays as well as possible. On Sundays in particular, many centimeters of snow are likely to fall and that is why they already advised not to travel on Sundays. Trevvel was founded in 2016. From 2018, they will facilitate target group transport in Rotterdam and the surrounding area and will bring approximately 7000 people to and from school, work or recreational destinations per working day. The cars with the Trevvel logo are now a well-known appearance within Rotterdam.

At the control center on the Bahialaan in Rotterdam, and from the many home workplaces, everything has been prepared for the restart of the long-awaited school transport next Monday. But even now it remains to be seen what the traces the blizzard Darcy will leave this weekend. Wind chill temperatures of up to -10 degrees are possible on Sundays. Rijkswaterstaat has made preparations for the snowfall and has 350 snow plows and 546 gritting trucks ready to keep the motorways clean.
