All Lufthansa Group airlines extend the free rebooking option. The rebooking fees for Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Eurowings, Lufthansa and SWISS are still suspended. Since the end of August, all fares of Brussels Airlines, Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines and Eurowings can be rebooked without rebooking costs. Originally, this rate offer was valid for (re) bookings until the end of February. Now the offer has been extended again: all airfares, booked up to and including 31 May, can be rebooked for free until 31 May 2021 as often as desired. After that date, one more rebooking is possible for free.

Lufthansa Group Airlines had already made it possible for its customers to rebook their tickets free of charge last year. The rebooking fee exemption applies worldwide to all new bookings in all fares on short, medium and long haul routes. This enables flexible travel planning for all Lufthansa Group customers.

However, additional costs may arise for rebooking if, for example, the original posting class is no longer available when rebooking to a different date or to a different destination. The rebooking of tickets issued up to and including 31 August 2020 can now also be done up to and including 31 May 2021 for travel up to and including 31 December 2021. Brussels Airlines reports this on their website.
