They come from everywhere every year. The shiny motorbikes with the East Flemish Bassevelde as the place of meeting. But unfortunately the fifteenth Harley Day, which was to take place on July 10 and 11 in Bassevelde, is canceled. The Asseneedse Harley club indicated that the risk is too great. During a normal summer, the day is good for more than two thousand shiny motorcycles and a multitude of visitors in the village center of Bassevelde. The Harley Day continued to grow but had reached the limit of possibilities in recent years. The club has members from East and West Flanders and from the Netherlands.

a history to be proud of

During the winter of 2005-2006, a group of Harley friends from Assenede, East Flanders, with Rudiger Wieme at the helm, put their heads together, planning a Harley day in the picturesque village of Assenede. The plans were made together with the city council and on July 9, 2006 the first Harleyday Assenede became a fact.
