The travel world is still upside down, travel restrictions apply everywhere and countries are bound by strict corona rules. The cabinet has advised us to only travel abroad if it is really necessary, this applies until at least 15 May. As of today, for example, as a Dutch person you are no longer allowed to enter Germany without being able to submit a negative test result. The test certificate may not be older than 48 hours, for commuting and students a term of 72 hours applies. The number of corona infections in our country is rising again and that is the reason that from today we will not enter Germany without a negative corona test.

These types of rules have been used by various airlines for some time because governments require this upon entry, you must then submit a negative test result before you can board. These rules vary by country, on the website The Netherlands worldwide you can find information about the rules per country. While many airlines are still struggling due to the ongoing problems of the corona crisis, a new airline is announcing itself at Eindhoven Airport. From 3 May, Air Arabia will fly twice a week from Eindhoven Airport to Nador in Morocco.

This city is located in the northeast of Morocco, located in the Rif Mountains. Depending on the then applicable travel advice and corona rules, Air Arabia will fly twice a week from Eindhoven Airport to Nador. They fly on Mondays and Fridays. Travel organization TUI has been flying to the city of Nador for some time. Air Arabia wants to get more slots for the summer season and then they also want to fly from Eindhoven to Oujda, Fez and possibly Casablanca. Slots are a period of time during which an aircraft is allowed to take off or land at an airport. So it remains to be seen whether the latter will actually happen.
