It is almost time, tomorrow is King's Day in the Netherlands. Before the corona crisis, this was a big party with all kinds of activities and parties throughout the Netherlands, this year it is 2e year in a row that unfortunately we cannot celebrate it that way. King Willem-Alexander, Queen Máxima and the 3 princesses are coming to Eindhoven this year to celebrate. They are present at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven. They will arrive on Tuesday around 11:00 in a Caravan of special cars, from an old DAF to the latest solar car from startup Lightyear. From a studio they participate in a special program in which Brainport Eindhoven presents itself on the basis of the theme Making Knowledge. The family takes part in all kinds of activities, such as a vacuum cleaner race, a regional quiz and a talk show with the princesses. At 13:00 PM, the festivities with the royal family will end with a final piece. Then the family leaves again with the Caravan of special cars.

The digital programming of that day in Eindhoven is also known by now. The online program starts at 10.30 am and lasts until 21 pm. There are all kinds of online activities that you can participate in and there are various online performances by La Fuente, Django Wagner and many other artists. Tuesday evening at 00 p.m., at the request of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima, there will be a concert by The Streamers from work palace Noordeinde Palace in The Hague. The concert will be free for everyone to follow online, the artists will perform selflessly, visitors can make a donation. The proceeds are divided between the artists and the makers. Various artists such as Guus Meeuwis, Suzan & Freek, Typhoon and many others participate. Anyone who has ordered free tickets can access the livestream from 19:00. Nice to end the day with a home concert and a snack and a drink.
