Brussels Mobility is looking for artists to transform the tunnel mouth of the tram on the Reyerslaan. After the street art projects on the tunnel mouths of the Jamarlaan and the Zuidlaan (between the Lekenenier and Zuidstation stations) and the tunnel mouth of the Vrijheidslaan and the Jettelaan (Simonis station), Brussels Mobility and the STIB now invite artists to think about a project to refurbish the Meiser tunnel mouth on Boulevard August Reyers between the Diamond Station and the Meiser roundabout. The appeal is addressed to all adults, individually or in groups, who practice urban mural art.

Tunnel mouths are the openings with ramps that allow the trams to travel from the open air to the underground. The aim is to embellish these “lost” spaces and to better integrate the tunnel mouths into their environment. The projects must be completed before August 8th submitted. Implementation is planned for the autumn of 2021. Brussels Mobility and STIB want to take into account the views of residents and users in all phases of the project. After a pre-selection based on the above criteria, the selected projects will be submitted to a public vote at the end of August.
