Siemens Mobility and UbiOps will join forces to develop new data science and artificial intelligence applications for the Dutch mobility sector. Both parties have recently concluded a cooperation agreement. Siemens Mobility has been realizing intelligent mobility solutions for (inter) urban environments and freight transport for years.

With IoT sensors and solutions for Mobility as a Service (MaaS), among other things, it helps Siemens Mobility digitize customers more quickly. UbiOps' software platform enables companies to quickly deploy, maintain and integrate data-driven models with their existing systems after development. As technology partners, Siemens Mobility and UbiOps complement each other well. The companies see ample opportunities for synergy to accelerate the development of and working with data science and machine learning models.

Strong partners

“Digitization is going very fast,” says Yannick Maltha, CEO of UbiOps. “No company can do everything itself in this race. To enable the data-driven innovations of tomorrow, we all need partners. That even applies to a technology giant like Siemens. We are therefore very pleased to have the opportunity to work with Siemens Mobility as a young and dynamic company. ”

Emilio Tuinenburg, digital transformation officer at Siemens Mobility, adds: “We are also looking forward to the collaboration. UbiOps helps data scientists and data engineers at companies with the implementation of data science models, without the need for in-depth IT knowledge. In this way, companies have the opportunity to quickly start using their own data science solutions. Together we can give a tremendous boost to the accelerated digitization in the mobility market and thereby create added value for society as a whole. ”
