As of this week, customers can pick up their bol.com parcel at five Albert Heijn stores and return it at a specially placed PostNL parcel machine. This makes it even easier for customers to pick up their bol.com parcel when it suits them. Since 2013, customers can pick up bol.com parcels at the bol.com collection point at their Albert Heijn store. Customers are increasingly taking advantage of the self-service capabilities that technology offers. This has accelerated in the past year. For example, the use of self-scan has tripled and more and more people are shopping online.

That is why, starting this week, consumers can pick up their parcel ordered at bol.com at five Albert Heijn stores in Voorhout, Delft, Alkmaar, Nijmegen and Maastricht and return it at the innovative PostNL parcel machine. When ordering on bol.com, they can select the PostNL parcel machine as a delivery option. When the package has arrived, the locker can be opened with a code. Other packages with a PostNL shipping label can also be sent or returned via the parcel machine. The parcel machines consist of 16 to 49 lockers with different sizes so that the parcel always fits. Customers can pick up and return parcels during Albert Heijn's extended opening hours or, in the case of Nijmegen and Maastricht, day and night because the parcel machine is located outside the store. This reports Albert Heijn on their website.
