The collective labor agreement for Taxi transport will expire on 31 December. Healthcare transport & taxi drivers want a minimum wage of 14 euros in their new collective labor agreement. To reinforce this demand, FNV members presented the employers with proposals for a new collective labor agreement. In a registered letter the trade association KNV was informed by Meindert Gorter. They did that at the start of the collective labor agreement discussions. Due to the corona virus, the sector is in the deepest economic crisis in ages. Despite the uncertainty that this entails, FNV as a trade union wants agreements to be made based on their vision and not on the basis of the one-sided agenda of wage moderation, more flexibility and sacrificing working conditions.

Where things go well, FNV is committed to more secure work, 5% more wages with a minimum of 14 euros for people with low wages, and quality agreements about control and getting your pension in good health. FNV indicates that things are going well in some sectors and less well in others. Of course they don't turn a blind eye to that. In the affected sectors, such as business services, catering, culture and aviation, they take the economic business situation into account when deploying, without losing sight of the interests of employees. This means that agreements must be made to absorb the blows of the crisis and to keep employees prospects for good work and a fair income.

propose HNV

FNV proposes a term of 1 year, from 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2022. Structural inclusion in the collective labor agreement of the APC (automatic price compensation) with a floor of 2022% for 5. Purchasing power conservation and improvement is of the utmost importance in a collective agreement with minimal remuneration to keep the economy going and to compensate employees for the increase in costs. For the term of this collective labor agreement, they propose to introduce a floor of 5% in addition to the APC in order not to further increase the arrears in remuneration compared to other sectors and to continue to be an attractive sector in the future. go to work.

They also propose to delete the bottom 3 wage steps in the wage structure in the coming 6 years in order to create a starting hourly wage of €14 gross per hour. In the lowest wage steps it is not possible to earn a living income within the sector. In order to be able to attract employees in the coming years and to offer employees a living income, the wages at the bottom of the wage structure must be increased, according to FNV.
