From today, KLM Package Deals will continue as KLM Holidays. The range of flights, hotels and rental cars has been expanded. What is new is that KLM will replace the CO2emissions from flights in the package. In addition, KLM is entering into a partnership with the travel industry. The renewal of KLM Holidays is one of the components of KLM's broader commercial strategy in the Dutch market. This strategy consists of three pillars: re-enforce the brand (ensure that consumers maintain their trust in KLM), reconnect with the markets (intensify contact with business partners and customers) and recover the business (with commercial campaigns and new propositions, such as KLM Holidays, to get sales going again). Consumers have been able to put together a package holiday on klm.nl since 2014. This will of course remain the case with KLM Holidays. Those who prefer to book through an intermediary now have that option too. As of today, KLM Holidays is accessible to travel advisors via your own login. This applies to all package tours where the flights are operated by KLM or partners, with the exception of Transavia. Prices are the same for consumers and the travel industry. Agents earn an attractive commission per package holiday sold, without complicated contracts or revenue models.

KLM Holidays offers maximum flexibility with the money-back guarantee. The customer can now temporarily change or cancel the booking free of charge, regardless of the reason. In case of cancellation, the customer will receive his / her money back (minus administration and other costs). This is possible up to 21 days before the planned departure. The money-back guarantee applies to bookings whose flights are operated by KLM, Air France, Delta Air Lines or Virgin Atlantic.

Other benefits for customers

With KLM Holidays package holidays, customers have an extensive choice of destinations, departure times and length of stay. Thus, the customer is not bound by a fixed length of stay. KLM Holidays offers thousands of three to five star hotels worldwide. The package can be extended with an airport transfer, excursions or rental car, if required. What is new is that KLM is the CO2emissions from flights within a KLM Holidays package that are operated by KLM, Air France, Delta Air Lines and Transavia. Flying Blue members earn miles on the flights within the booked package. And they can get a discount on a KLM Holidays package trip with their accumulated miles by ordering a discount voucher in the Flying Blue Store.
