The Brussels Region offers the “Tetra+” premium to Brussels companies. This was extended to the taxi and VVB companies. The “Tetra Premium” is awarded in function of the Brussels establishment units active in the sectors concerned with a maximum of 5 establishment units per company. The turnover is determined on the basis of the data in the acknowledgments of receipt of the VAT returns of 19 April 2021 at the latest.

A company can only do one aid application Tetra+ cannot combine the different premiums for discotheques, restaurants and cafes and some of their suppliers or for the passenger transport, culture, sports, tourism and events sector. In its aid application, the company definitively chooses one of the three premiums and selects the establishment units where the activity for which the premium is requested is carried out.

strange construction

The coronavirus crisis has hit Brussels nightlife very hard. Therefore, under certain conditions, companies can receive a financial premium from the Brussels Region. Nevertheless, it remains strange to see that different standards and values apply to nightlife in the Brussels region than to companies in Flanders or Wallonia. Belgium simply has strange, and for the outside world often incomprehensible constructions. Support for taxi companies in the Brussels region simply does not apply to colleagues in Ghent or Antwerp. Taxi or VVB companies that have lost between 25% and 40% or at least 40% of their turnover in the reference period are eligible for this premium.
