It was predictable that the website for the victims was a smart move by one of the suppliers. After all, how can you quickly collect addresses of drivers that you do not know personally, but who do drive around with your cars that they rented through Car Driver Deals as a mobility solution. Many victims left their contact details and license plate in a first reaction in the hope of seeing a joint solution and joining forces with all the other victims. Nothing could be further from the truth, now that all addresses have ended up with Sharing Matters BV, also trading under the name Enterprise.

'we are here to help you'

Car Driver Deals was an important customer for Enterprise. Perhaps the reason that Enterprise did not intervene more quickly, which could have prevented a lot of misery. The website states that the site is there to help, but Enterprise left nothing behind that allows victims to immediately link to their company, except for the privacy statement and the registration details at the SIDN from which this is evident. It is now obvious who they are really helping. Now that all the details have been made available and the collection of vehicles at the right addresses is only a matter of time, Enterprise draws attention to the following. In the meantime, they have also sent an email to the victims.

"We have found that external parties are taking advantage of all the confusion that has arisen, approaching customers of Car Driver Deals with the announcement that they have been engaged by the owners of the vehicles to confiscate the vehicles. Enterprise therefore emphasizes that we do not currently use third parties. engaged to secure the vehicles."

free driving

As of Monday 7 June, Enterprise has canceled all contracts with Car Driver Deals. They have decided to do this because Car Driver Deals has structurally failed to fulfill its payment obligations towards them. The consequence of this cancellation is that Car Driver Deals is no longer entitled to make the vehicle available to the drivers. Enterprise indicates that all vehicles had to be returned to them from June 7th and writes that the customers of Car Driver Deals could use their vehicles free of charge, but forget that the victims now often receive large 'not free' loans. are stuck.

don't panic

Enterprise understands that the drivers have been seriously affected by the conduct of Car Driver Deals by the brothers Jan and Geert Golsteijn and that immediate confiscation of the vehicle from the vehicles could have and could still lead to major problems. Therefore, they did not want to cause more panic and at the moment still let the victims drive in one of the vehicles, but that is now coming to an end. The company offers, if the victim meets their security screening requirements, to rent the vehicle directly from them with immediate effect for what they themselves label as an extremely competitive rate that they have put together especially for victims of Car Driver Deals. One should think of an offer from EUR 600 for the smallest car in a short-lease construction.

Another option is to return the car to Enterprise Schiphol, Arrivals Hall 22, 1118 AX Schiphol (Follow the signs for car rental return) – Enterprise Amsterdam Central, Harry Banninkstraat 129 Oosterdokeiland, 1011 DD Amsterdam (in the Oosterdok Parking garage level -2 the signs for Enterprise follow – Enterprise Eindhoven Airport, Luchthavenweg 13B, 5657 EA Eindhoven – Enterprise Maastricht, Heugemerweg 35, 6221 GE Maastricht.

At the return location, you will then be given the opportunity to remove the belongings from the vehicle, and you will be asked to sign a return statement. After that, you will receive a proof of surrender from Enterprise.

Meanwhile, the management of the 'dubious' lease company is doing everything it can to stay out of sight. Unreachable for the press and victims, addresses of the company itself are now also being changed. The registered office of Atvangarde BV, which trades under the name Car Driver Deals and which, according to the Chamber of Commerce, is located at Hoofdstraat 49 a in Maasbracht, suddenly appears to be located in Echt at Voltaweg 2b, according to Google.

The Google Earth photo of the address in Maasbracht shows the house of VindiQ Office BV , wholesaler of office machines, which indicated earlier this week that it would prefer not to be affiliated with Car Driver Deals. However, we happen to see the name VindQ Mobility in our file. A nice detail may be that Geert Golsteijn owns VindiQ Office according to his LinkedIn profile. Who else gets it? And that while perhaps the millions have been evaporating for more than a week because it is a civil matter for the victims.
