More and more people around the world have now been vaccinated and anyone who thought that would be the end of the corona problem in the world is really wrong. The number of corona infections worldwide is currently increasing again. Although the number of corona infections is increasing in various countries, no travel advice will be set within Europe this week from code orange (only necessary trips) to code yellow (note, there are risks) or from code yellow to code orange. The national government also reports that RIVM is closely monitoring the situation in Luxembourg and in the Azores in Portugal and Crete in Greece due to the number of increasing corona infections there. These destinations currently have yellow travel advice, but can change back to orange travel advice.

According to the RIVM, there is a growth in the number of infections in many European countries. This does not only look at the number of infections, but also everything related to this, such as the percentage of positive tests and the number of travelers who return infected from a visit to another country. On Thursday, July 22, Malta's travel advice will change from code green to code yellow, as the number of corona infections is rising. Traveling to Malta remains possible, but strict entry rules apply. All travelers must, among other things, complete a Public Health Travel Declaration and Passenger Locator Form prior to departure and this must be presented in Malta on request. Travelers who are not fully vaccinated and to Malta trips must be quarantined for 14 days at your own expense in a government-designated quarantine facility. More and more countries are applying strict corona measures, from today adults in France must be able to show a health card when visiting a cultural institution such as an amusement park, cinema and a major event. From August, this must also be done in catering and in certain shopping centers.
