Sunweb Group reports that the Amsterdam Court of Appeal today rejected all Corendon's claims and ruled in favor of Sunweb Group on all points. Sunweb Group does not have to continue the acquisition of Corendon.
Following the ruling, Sunweb Group can once again focus on the future and its new dynamic strategy introduced earlier this year. “First of all, we are happy that this lawsuit has come to an end and that there is clarity for our employees and the employees of Corendon. The ruling comes as no surprise as we have always had confidence in our legal position. We are pleased that the Court of Appeal has now also confirmed this position and has ruled in our favor today. Finally, we can fully focus on what we love most: making our customers happy with a well-deserved holiday”, says Mattijs ten Brink, CEO of Sunweb Group.
