EVBox Group supports Pride Week, which lasts from July 31 to August 8, by temporarily stickering the public charging stations in Amsterdam and other cities. All proceeds from relevant charging stations during this period will be donated to the LGBTQ+ interest group, COC Nederland. For the fourth year in a row, EVBox Group and Vattenfall support the COC by decorating public charging stations in Amsterdam with colorful PRIDE stickers. This year, the collaboration goes a step further by labeling charging stations in several cities, including Breda, Maastricht and Den Bosch.

EVBox Group and Vattenfall show their appreciation for the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community by labeling public charging stations with the 13 different flags. Each flag represents a specific minority. During Pride Week (July 31 – August 8), all proceeds from the 170 decorated charging stations in Amsterdam, Breda, Den Bosch and Maastricht will be donated to the LGBTQ+ interest group, COC Nederland.

Take pride in us

The theme of this 25th anniversary year of Amsterdam Pride is “TAKE PRIDE in us”. EVBox and Vattenfall are proud to be able to raise money for the COC again. The theme “TAKE PRIDE in us” aims to create more awareness to make Dutch society more inclusive. The different designs of the stickers each represent a specific group within the LGBTQ+ community: transgender flag, intersex flag, genderqueer flag, non-binary flag, agender flag, bisexual flag, pansexual flag, genderfluid flag , lesbian flag, aromantic flag, asexual flag, traditional pride flag, and progressive pride flag.

Due to the current uncertainty regarding the pandemic, the major festivities surrounding the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Amsterdam Pride have been postponed until 2022. However, many small-scale activities will still be given a place. The Pride Walk will also return on Saturday 7 August in the RAI in Amsterdam.
