The malfunction that Justis has been dealing with since October 15 has not yet been resolved. Since taxi drivers do not receive a VOG statement, KIWA, responsible for the driver card, indicates that they have not received any further instructions from the Ministry of Justice and Security on how to deal with this further. The outage is not expected to be resolved this week either. A taxi driver is only allowed to work if he has a driver card (previously called a driver card). He must request the driver card from the Kiwa Register.

The systems required for applying for, issuing and renewing VOGs, GVAs and Boa certificates are not available. The Customer Contact Center can now be reached again on all telephone lines. Until the malfunction is resolved, we will keep you informed of developments daily via our website and Twitter. Together with the external software supplier, we are still working hard on a solution. Unfortunately, it is not yet clear when the malfunction will be completely resolved.

What is going on?

As stated earlier, there is no question of a hacking attack or cybercrime. Several systems have been affected by a software error; the systems at Justis itself are actually not defective. The exact cause of the error is being investigated, but the priority is now mainly to make the systems available again. This means that people do not use our digital environment (MyJustis) and no paper applications are processed, because partly the same systems are required. Municipalities cannot submit your VOG application either.
