Betuwe Express has maintained close ties with the Ronald McDonald House in Nijmegen for many years. They provide a few bus trips per year for the employees and volunteers at a reduced rate. When choosing a new charity for the Betuwe Express school trip brochure, the choice was made quickly. From every school trip sold, 5 euros will go to the house. The company has rounded this proceeds to the nice amount of 1000 euros. The company will continue this action in 2022. 

We also advise employees at primary schools who are responsible for planning school trips to request a quote from Betuwe Express for hiring buses or transport. Such initiatives and support for a good cause are fully supported. Mobility may be normal for us, but for parents who have to deal with Ronald McDonald, this is often not the case.

The Ronald McDonald Children's Fund receives no subsidy and is completely dependent on donors, sponsors and volunteers. In 2022, our editorial team wants to contribute by drawing extra attention to the Ronald McDonald Children's Fund and also making a small financial contribution contribution to be delivered to the Ronald McDonald House Maastricht.

The Ronald McDonald Children's Fund is already taking care 35 years for sick children and their families to be close to each other. Parents, brothers and sisters stay in twelve Houses within walking distance of the hospital. In twelve living rooms, in the middle of hospitals, families can relax in a homely atmosphere. Families with a care-intensive child find new energy in three holiday homes.
