Camper contact presents the Motorhome Location of the Year award to improve the quality of overnight accommodations for motorhome owners. In total, there are more than 2.400 overnight locations in the Netherlands that motor home owners can find via the app and on the Campercontact website. To be in with a chance of winning this prize, the motorhome location must have had at least twelve reviews on the platform in the year prior to the award ceremony (2021). The location with the highest average rating wins the prize and can carry the title Camper Location of the Year for a year. This year, for the first time, a winning location will be named in the motorhome pitches category and a winner in the campsites category. The degree of impact of corona on a country, area or motorhome location has not been taken into account when selecting the winning overnight locations.
