Since March 21, 2022, the current driver portal of the Eindhoven software company Pitane BV has been converted to the brand new GATE 12 portal. In order to guarantee continuity and to meet the wishes of customers, the platform was upgraded. The new platform has a completely new and fresh look, contains new functionalities and is very user-friendly.

Underlying, of course, a lot has also been improved, for example they use the latest software in the field of planning to offer their customers the most stable and functional environment possible. The current platform will be phased out, so it is important for customers to make the transition to the brand new GATE 12 platform as soon as possible and experience the benefits for themselves. Large companies responsible for the transport of their own employees, but also transport centers responsible for thousands of journey orders per day, often from municipalities, have been working on the new platform that went online at the end of last year.

GATE 12

With the new GATE 12, Pitane BV mainly focuses on taxi companies and large control centers that often use subcontractors or freelancers as taxi drivers. Drivers can view and easily accept their journeys and services in advance and afterwards. The new rules for working and rest times for taxi drivers are also transparent to drivers who are employed by the taxi companies.

With Gate 12 each user gets his own access to their own web environment. In the coming weeks, the portal will also be available to subcontractors or sub-central plants. Exporting data, viewing invoices or seeing their own cars driving on the map in real time was already possible in the previous generation of the software, but that platform is also moving completely to Gate 12. With this, Live 24/7 will soon also be part of the new generation software.
