NS is a valuable client within the mobility segment.

The European tender for the cleaning of all stations that NS issued was awarded to facility service providers Asito and ICS Groep. The contract will start on July 1, 2022 for a period of four years. Because the contract was about to expire, NS started a new European tender in 2021. asito will clean 258 stations in the central and northern parts of the Netherlands, including Amsterdam Centraal and Utrecht Centraal, and ICS will be cleaning the other 138 stations in the southern Netherlands.

NS and ProRail attach great value to clean stations. The cleaning of all stations in the Netherlands was again asked for in the market through a tender. Asito wins the North plot and remains the cleaning face at the stations in most of the Netherlands. For ICS, the award is a significant expansion compared to the previous contract that this company had. After this period, the agreement can be extended four times for a further year. NS has already worked with these parties in the past, which again came out on top in the tender.
