Official figures from BOVAG, RAI Vereniging and RDC show that 78.539 new passenger cars were registered in the first three months of this year, or 2,5 percent less than in the first quarter of 2021. computer chips are playing tricks on the car industry.

  2. Volkswagen (5.951/ 7,6 percent) 
  3. Toyota (5.913/7,5 percent) 
  4. Peugeot (5.417/ 6,9 percent) 
  5. BMW (4.929/ 6,3 percent) 

The most registered models in the first quarter of 2022 were:

  1. Volvo XC40 with 1.934 units and 2,5 percent market share 
  2. KIA Niro (1.923/ 2,4 percent) 
  3. Peugeot 2008 (1.828/ 2,3 percent) 
  4. KIA Picanto (1.827/ 2,3 percent) 
  5. Peugeot 208 (1.795/ 2,3 percent)
