Tomorrow is the day, King's Day and this year we can finally celebrate this festive day in a normal way again. This festive day has been celebrated in the Netherlands since 2014, on this day we celebrate the birthday of our King and there are festive festivities throughout the country. The last traditional King's Day in 2019, the King and his family were a guest in Amersfoort. In 2020, the Royal family would celebrate this festive day in Maastricht, but this was canceled due to the measures against the corona virus and converted to Housing Day. Last year the Royal family was a guest in Eindhoven, but unfortunately without an audience. The Royal family will celebrate King's Day in Maastricht on Wednesday. The King turns 55 and this year is his ninth King's Day. The festivities start at 11:00 a.m. on the Sint Servaasbrug where the bus with the King and his family arrives and ends again at 13:00 p.m. at the Vrijthof

There are free markets, parties and... festivals Place. The Dutch Railways recently announced that many festivities are easily accessible by train. They operate a special Orange timetable, which means that extra trains and longer trains will be used on King's Night and King's Day.
