Raymon Pouwels (28), co-founder and CEO of shared transport provider GO Sharing, has been named by Forbes in the prestigious European list of the 30 most influential people under the age of 30 in the Social Impact category. Raymon founded GO Sharing in 2019 together with Donny van den Oever and Doeke Boersma, with the aim of 'a green planet with mobility for everyone, for everyone'. A start was made with 250 electric shared scooters in Eindhoven. Now, 3 years later, GO Sharing is active in 6 countries, with more than 10.000 shared vehicles, including electric shared cars, e-scooters and e-bikes. The company has grown from 3 to 300 employees and an investment of €2021 million was raised in 50. Thanks to GO Sharing, more than 2.000 tons of CO2 have already been saved.

“By 2050, the EU must be CO2 neutral. This calls for a behavioral change in the field of mobility: instead of owning your own vehicle, often polluting and stationary, to using it when you need it. We want to provide door-to-door travel with electric shared transport worldwide: within cities with electric shared scooters and e-bikes and between cities and regions with electric cars. In this way, together we reduce CO2 emissions from traffic and we ensure a more pleasant street scene, because less space is needed for parking spaces.”

GO Sharing was founded in 2019 with the aim of interpreting transport differently. To make transport accessible, sustainable and less street-defining, the traditional model of ownership must be transformed into a sustainable door-to-door sharing facility.
