Last month, 22.087 new passenger cars were registered in the Netherlands, which is 7,4 percent less than in April 2021, according to official figures from RAI Association, BOVAG and data supplier RDC. In the first four months of 2022, a total of 100.457 passenger cars were registered. That is a decrease of 3,8 percent compared to last year (104.431 units).
Most registered brands in April 2022:
- KIA with 2.430 registrations and 11,0 percent market share
- Toyota (1.655 / 7,5 percent)
- Volkswagen (1.512 / 6.9 percent)
- Skoda (1.498 / 6,8 percent)
- Peugeot (1.407 / 6,4 percent)
Most registered models in April 2022:
- Skoda Enyaq with 869 registrations and 3,9 percent market share
- Volvo XC40 (774 / 3,5 percent)
- Peugeot 208 (712 / 3,2 percent)
- Lynk & Co 01 (691 / 3,1 percent)
- KIA Niro (567 / 2,6 percent) and KIA Picanto (567 / 2,6 percent)
