For the first 2.500 registered walkers, Equal Brussels will donate 10 euros to the non-profit organization Pink Ribbon.

On Sunday, May 22, the Leopold II tunnel will be officially renamed Annie Cordy tunnel. The appointment for cutting the ribbon is at the basilica tunnel entrance in the direction of South, just before the Elisabeth Park. The official inauguration will be done by Minister Elke Van den Brandt, State Secretary Nawal Ben Hamou, Minister Bernard Clerfayt, State Secretary Pascal Smet, Mimi Lebon-Cooreman, niece of Annie Cordy, artist Charlotte Beaudry with the young women immortalized on her artwork and the Mayors Ahmed Laaouej, Catherine Moureaux, Christian Lamouline and Pierre Kompany is scheduled at 12 noon.

Afterwards, everyone can walk through the tunnel. Those who pre-register via the website of Pink ribbon, receives an original T-shirt and contributes to the fight against breast cancer. At 15 p.m. a tribute concert in honor of Annie Cordy will follow in Elizabeth Park. On the bill are many artists who have known the singer such as Salvatore Adamo, Dave, Frederic François, Virginie Hocq, Sandra Kim, Marka, Gilbert Montagné, Les Frères Taloche, Herve Vilard and many others. They are accompanied by the original orchestra and backing choir of Annie Cordy. Els De Schepper and Cécile Djunga talk the whole thing together.
