Badly paying customers cause stress and financial misery.

The term in which large companies have to pay the bills of small companies or self-employed people is being shortened from 60 to 30 days. As a result, small businesses and taxi drivers receive money earlier.

Debtors are your customers and as a taxi driver you want a good relationship with them. But poorly paying customers cause stress and financial misery. The government wants to put a stop to this by requiring major creditors to pay their invoices within 30 days.

In itself a good measure, but what are large companies? A company is a large company if at least 2 of these 3 points are correct. The company has a balance sheet total of more than €20 million or a net turnover of more than €40 million or has 250 employees or more. The government now also has to pay within 30 days. This also applies to large companies.

The measure is intended for SME entrepreneurs who provide products or services to large companies, self-employed persons who are hired by large companies or large companies that do business with SME entrepreneurs.

minimum wage

As of July 1, entrepreneurs will more often have to deal with new laws and rules† For example, due to the high gas price in the Netherlands, the government has decided to lower the energy tax. The VAT on natural gas, electricity and district heating will be reduced to 9%. This scheme will probably run until December 31, 2022. The gross amount of the statutory minimum wage will also increase on July 1, 2022.

The statutory gross minimum wage (WML) for employees aged 21 and older with full employment will be €1.756,20 per month, €405,30 per week or €81,06 per day. This measure will apply to all entrepreneurs with staff.
