PostNL offers all its mail deliverers a permanent contract. This applies to both deliverers who are already employed by PostNL, and to new colleagues who start working as postal deliverers. This means that more than 1.000 postal deliverers with a temporary appointment now receive a permanent contract.

Salary increase and bonus
Until now, postal deliverers were offered a permanent contract after seven months. Last June, PostNL reached an agreement with the unions on a wage increase of more than 8 percent for its nearly 16.500 postal deliverers. In addition, new postal deliverers receive a maximum of 250 euros in bonuses in certain areas when they start working at PostNL. The wages of new young deliverers have also been increased and the work has been made more flexible. For example, in several cities, delivery guys who want to deliver mail in the evenings.
