Our editors will be there again this year and report.

tickets

Zandvoort aan Zee is good accessible by train. The Zandvoort circuit is about a 15-minute walk from the station. After a short train ride from the capital, you can already have your toes in the sand or enjoy the Formula 1 Grand Prix. If you're smart, buy your return ticket to Zandvoort aan Zee online and skip the line at the ticket machine.

NS has made two different return tickets available for this race event. The Dutch Grand Prix Day Return with which you can travel to and from Zandvoort aan Zee station within one day. And the special Dutch Grand Prix Multi-Day Return. This return consists of two tickets, one for the outward journey and one for the return journey to/from Zandvoort aan Zee station. Both tickets are valid in 2nd class and can be used on 1, 2, 3 or 4 September 2022. The trains between Amsterdam Central and Zandvoort aan Zee stop at all intermediate stations except Overveen station due to the modified timetable.

You must park your bike during the Formula 1 weekend. If you do not do this, you run the risk that your bicycle will be removed. We do this for safety and accessibility reasons.

Zandvoort is always accessible, even by car. Residents, entrepreneurs, suppliers, care providers and stakeholders receive a pass. Without a pass, you cannot enter Zandvoort with a motor vehicle from Thursday, September 1, 05:00, until Monday, September 5, 05:00. You could apply for your pass until 15 August. It is no longer possible to submit an application.

Keep an eye on! A pass is not a parking permit. The large car parks and parking areas are not available just before and during the race days. If you want to park in Zandvoort these days, you must have a parking space on your own property or a valid parking permit. If you, as a visitor, are staying in a hotel, cottage or camping site in Zandvoort during this period, your accommodation address will provide you with information about parking options and a pass.
