New technologies such as electrification and the need for broader mobility solutions pose challenges for the sector.

The automotive sector is undergoing major changes. The family BMW/MINI dealers Jorssen, Beliën and Sneyers announced their merger. With more than two hundred and ninety employees, more than seven thousand eight hundred cars sold per year and a turnover of 275 million euros, the new group belongs to the top in the Belgian premium market.

The merged group has six branches with four body shops, four MINI showrooms and five BMW concessions spread across Antwerp, the Kempen and North Limburg. New technologies such as electrification and the need for broader mobility solutions pose challenges for the sector. In order to provide an answer to this, a concentration movement is created.

“This merger creates synergies, economies of scale and opportunities in various areas for our customers, employees and suppliers. We work together from day 1 with the same goal and for the same end result. We all firmly believe in this consolidation while retaining our own identity and strong regional anchoring. We are starting this new story together with a lot of ambition for further growth.”

The three families, each successful BMW dealer for more than sixty years with a strong position in their own region, strengthen their local roots with this merger and take the lead through consolidation. This collaboration is a joining of forces while retaining its own strengths.

All branches will continue to operate under their own name and the known employees offer the same, trusted services as usual. All family shareholders will remain on board through a new holding company with the Adriaenssens (Jorssen) family as reference shareholder.
