The normal travel time between the car park and the highway is usually a maximum of 10 minutes, but that is different now.
Long waiting times do not only apply in the airports. Traffic and waiting times on the road are also extreme around Eindhoven Airport. Travel times of up to more than 60 minutes extra to reach the highway from the car park around the airport are the order of the day.

Closed roads, construction work, traffic lights that don't work, traffic controllers who look on desperately and bad weather conditions are the ingredients for complete traffic chaos. Those who have nothing to do around the airport these days should stay away from it.
Since 29 August, a start has been made on the reconstruction of the Airport Road – Spottersweg – Landsard intersection. This work will last until October 7, 2022. Diversions have been set up for cyclists as well as for car traffic, but that goes wrong every day. It is doom and gloom, especially when everyone returns home from the companies from 16.00 p.m.

The work will also affect the routes of scheduled buses. Bus line 400 runs via Anthony Fokkerweg to Airportweg and is therefore not a connection for Brainport Industries Campus. Bus line 10 also runs an alternative route. Bus line 10 does have a stop at Brainport Industries Campus, but will not be connected to Eindhoven Airport during the work.
After October 7, 2022, the Road Structure Eindhoven Northwest – Main Infrastructure project will be completed and the reconstruction of the Airport Road will then start (from October 10, 2022). So whoever wants to reach Eindhoven Airport must take extra time to reach the highway in the coming weeks
