More and more chains, such as Bever and Dille & Kamille, feel uncomfortable with the phenomenon that has blown over from America.

Black Friday has come over from America, the discount festival that is both loved and hated by entrepreneurs. Often it is necessary to go from one mall to another to compare the offers and find the best one, before you leave the stores full of bargains you didn't even intend to buy.

For car-sharing companies, this is calculated where car-sharing comes into play. Having a car at your fingertips for a few minutes, a few hours or all day without even having to worry about parking will definitely help you during Black Friday and beyond.

Of course, the key to a successful Black Friday week is planning: decide which items to buy, search online and then plan your purchases. But sometimes life doesn't always go according to plan. If you need to get to the store at the last minute, there's car sharing to help.

The official market launch of car2go, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz Mobility AG, took place in 2010. In the following years, car2go expanded to 26 cities in Europe, North America and China with more than 14.000 Mercedes-Benz and smart cars. An all-electric fleet operated in four cities.

Meanwhile, DriveNow was founded in 2011 as a joint venture and has been a subsidiary of the BMW Group since March 2018. The service started in June 2011 in Munich.
