Motorcycling is more popular than ever in our country, what could be better than crossing the country on a sunny day with your motorcycle.

We are going to have a good period again in terms of the weather. The worst wet and dark months are almost over and we can enjoy more dry periods and longer days again. This is also good news for the motorcyclists among us. After two canceled editions due to the corona pandemic, the largest motorcycle Valhalla in the Netherlands is in the starting blocks, as the MOTORbeurs Utrecht will soon be back. This has been the meeting point for motorcycle enthusiasts for 35 years. You will find a unique mix of the latest motorcycles from manufacturers, a diverse range of used cars, the latest clothing & accessories, various clubs, associations and special offers.

From industry association data BOVAG shows that next month the 800.000e, motorcycle is registered in the Netherlands. There are more than 1,5 million motorcycle license holders in our country and sales of new motorcycles are at their highest level in 15 years. The province of Drenthe has the highest number of motorcyclists, 11,7 percent. Followed by the province of Zeeland with 10,5 percent. The provinces of Gelderland, Overijssel and Friesland are in third place with 9,5 percent. The province of South Holland has the least number of motorcyclists, namely 6,9 percent.

“The influence of the pandemic on the popularity of motorcycling is evident, as on the one hand public transport was avoided for commuting and on the other hand many people were looking for recreational time use. Many motorcycle license owners thus picked up an old hobby and many of them are now also experiencing the benefits of this daily with the now increased traffic jams”.
